Timing of events.

Fri Apr 22, 2011 9:10 am by Anabus

Hi, i was just wondering if you can use timing on the grand lenormand cards, if so, how. I know there are pics of the stars on the cards, but being a learner, and having a french interpretation book it's a little confusing for me. Laughing thanks guys...

how were you introduced to the Grand Jeu?

Mon Jul 20, 2009 7:00 pm by rif

I'm curious as to how you Grand Jeu fans happened across this deck and decided to study it.

It's still fairly obscure here in the US, after all. Smile

(How popular is it in Europe?)

4 of Spades : Juno, Semele and Jupiter

In the lower right of the Card we see what the LWB describes as:
"Like thunder, Jupiter falls on Semele while she is asleep."

But this would be a more accurate picture, and it is the destruction
of Semele, through a trick by Juno, for Jupiter reveals his full …

Sexual Organs aka Organes Sexuels in Le Grand Jeu Lenormand

The quest to NAME the flowers continues...

From an online list that has the flowers of Le Grand Jue de Mlle Lenormand,
there are 3 references to "Organes Sexuels" for the flowers on the cards.

We see them in the images here where it shows a bundle of various plants,
resembling "cat tails" and other sorts of …

That should probably be Naiad Nymphs. But how to find them here?
___________

"When Achilles was slain, his body was redeemed for
an equal weight of gold from (the River) Pactolus."

from ALEXANDRA translated by A. W. Mair …
